Are your planters handmade?
Yes. Every Bead & Bloom planter is assembled by hand, from the decorative draping through to the final balancing and finishing. Small variations in placement, tone, or detailing are part of the handmade process, making each piece uniquely yours.
Are these mass-produced?
No. Each planter is assembled individually in small batches or as single pieces. This allows for quality control, variation, and a more considered approach to design.
Where are the materials sourced from?
We work with a small selection of overseas suppliers for ornamental glass and metal components. These are then dismantled and reworked into sculptural accents as part of each finished piece.
How do you approach packaging?
As a plant and nature lover, reducing unnecessary waste is important to me. Where possible, we repurpose the original packaging our components arrive in and choose compostable or recyclable packaging materials, including compostable bubble wrap and mailer bags when available.
We try to make lower-impact packaging choices wherever practical, while ensuring every piece is properly protected for its journey.
Are the planters functional or decorative?
They are fully functional planters.
Each piece includes a removable inner pot and water tray, allowing plants to be watered and cared for without disturbing the decorative detailing.
Structural Preparation & Suspension
Every Bead & Bloom planter is carefully reinforced, assembled, and balanced with secure suspension in mind. The suspension chains use welded links paired with strong structural connectors, creating a hanging system designed for long-term use when installed correctly.
What hanging hardware is included?
Each planter includes a gold stainless steel S-hook, designed to connect the planter’s hanging chains to a suitable, securely installed ceiling hook or mounting point.
As ceiling types and mounting requirements vary between homes, ceiling fixings are not included. Please ensure your chosen ceiling hook or mounting hardware is appropriate for your ceiling type and the total hanging weight before installation.
Why do prices vary between designs?
Pricing reflects:
- The complexity of the assembly
- The number and type of ornamental accents used
- The time required to construct and balance each piece
Every design is priced individually rather than using a one-size-fits-all model.
Will this exact design be restocked?
Not always.
Some designs form part of a core collection and may be remade, while others are created using limited components and will not be replicated exactly once sold.
This allows each piece to remain distinctive rather than mass-produced.
If a design is remade, will it look identical?
Each remade design is carefully recreated to remain as true to the original as possible.
As every planter is handcrafted and some components may vary slightly between batches, minor differences in colour, finish, or placement may occasionally occur. These subtle variations will not change the overall character or aesthetic of the design.
Do you offer repairs or refurbishment?
If your Bead & Bloom piece becomes damaged or well-loved over time, repair or refurbishment may be available where practical.
As every piece and situation is different, we'll assess your planter individually and let you know what's possible. Any repair or refurbishment work will be quoted based on the work required and any replacement materials.

Can I request changes to an existing design?
We don't currently offer fully custom designs, as each Bead & Bloom piece is created around its own carefully considered composition.
Small adjustments to existing designs may occasionally be possible, such as hanging length or selected decorative details, depending on the design, materials, and availability.

Do you ship internationally?
Yes — international shipping is available.
Shipping costs and delivery times are calculated at checkout and vary depending on destination.
What plants work best?
Every Bead & Bloom planter includes a 21cm removable inner pot and matching water tray, making planting and maintenance simple. They are best suited to trailing plants, compact houseplants, and succulents that complement the hanging design. Heavier or top-heavy plants are not recommended, as they can affect the planter's balance over time.
Do the crystals create rainbows?
Many designs feature clear and iridescent crystal accents that create beautiful rainbow reflections in direct sunlight. Others incorporate coloured crystals, which cast rich coloured light instead. The effect varies depending on the crystal combination, the design, and the natural light in your space.
Why are some collections called “Seed”, “Bloom”, or “Flourish”?
These names reflect the role each collection plays within Bead & Bloom:
Seed
Foundational designs with a lighter, more minimal feel. Designed as an introduction to Bead & Bloom, these pieces embrace understated detailing and effortless versatility while retaining the distinctive character of a Prism Planter.
Bloom
The heart of Bead & Bloom, featuring layered draping, expressive detail, and refined styling. These designs balance elegance, movement, and timeless sophistication.
Flourish
Bold, ornate statement pieces with intricate detailing and abundant light play. Designed for interiors where every detail is meant to stand out.
Signature
One-of-a-kind creations and very small-run designs that allow for complete creative freedom. These pieces are rarely recreated and are intended for collectors seeking something truly unique.
Eccentric Garden (Coming Soon)
A whimsical series within the Signature collection, where storytelling, unexpected themes, and imaginative concepts take centre stage. From playful references to bold, character-led designs, Eccentric Garden celebrates creativity without limits while maintaining the same level of craftsmanship found throughout Bead & Bloom.
